Q. What should I wear?

A. Wear comfortable clothes. Shoes are not worn in workouts. For women, please wear close fitting workout clothes. For men, please wear T-shirt and shorts; be sure to wear bike shorts underneath.

Q. Who can do Pilates?

A. Pilates is for everyone – men, women, pregnant women, young, old, athletic, deconditioned, or even undergoing rehabilitation. If you have additional questions or concerns, please Contact Us.

Q. What can I expect during my first session?

A. Most new clients can expect a 55-minute session beginning on the Mat or Reformer, followed by a transition to one or more Pilates apparatus, such as the High Chair or Cadillac. Clients will usually finish with standing wall exercises. Your instructor will verbally guide you through a series of foundational Pilates exercises, helping you achieve safe and stable movement.

Q. How often should I do Pilates?

A. During your first private session, our instructors will give you detailed instructions that facilitate your safe transition from private sessions to more affordable duets, semi-privates, and group classes, making more frequent workouts possible. With your customized workout regimen, consistency is the key for success. Ideally, you will want to work out two to three times a week.

Q. When will I see results?

A. Joseph Pilates declared that, "in 10 sessions you will feel a difference, in 20 sessions you will see a difference, and in 30 sessions you will have a whole new body."
