Physical fitness has always been a part of my life. Movement gives me strength and patience to quiet my mind and conquer each day. With more than twelve years of experience in the medical field and long days on my feet, I was determined to find a healthy non-medical alternative that could help manage the chronic pain I suffered from a car accident and a physically demanding profession. Pilates was the answer. It was just what I needed to balance my body and develop a core that supported my back. Not only did Pilates help with pain management but I found that my body bounced right back after two pregnancies. My experience here at Body Pure Pilates inspired me to make classical Pilates a deeper part of my life, and so here I am...a fully certified instructor. I've worked with all ages and fitness levels.
