Meet our instructors:


Frankie Clancy

"I am a fitness junkie who has been training and teaching in the fitness industry for more than 30 years. I am certified to teach broad range of fitness classes including step, weight conditioning, TRX, and kickboxing, and have been certified by the American Council on Exercise (ACE) since 1990. Because of a hip injury, I discovered Pilates to balance out my workouts and realized that Pilates was the anti-aging workout I was craving! I hold certifications from Polestar and Power Pilates and am a Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) certified trainer. As a Teacher Trainer for Power Pilates, I travel the Midwest instructing certification programs and continuing education workshops. My goal is to teach the Pilates method in its classic form and teach trainers how to be successful instructors. I work with people of all fitness levels, and am dedicated to helping you achieve your fitness goals and change your life with Pilates."


Mary Willis

"The art of movement has always been a part of my life as a gymnast, cheerleader and competitive equestrian. My college studies in anatomy and adaptive P.E. taught me that 'movement heals,' and I've been a fitness instructor since the early '90s. I'm certified in all types of group fitness and personal training, and I enjoy teaching workshops to help other instructors develop their skills. I've completed the highest level of certifications in both the classical and contemporary methods of Pilates including Polestar Pilates, Physical Mind Pilates and Power Pilates. I'm also certified in the Xtend Ballet Barre Method as well as GYROKINESIS® and GYROTONIC® methods. I look forward to making your workouts fun, functional, and most of all...never boring."

Megan Tedrick

"Since my first ballet class, movement has been a major priority of my life. In high school, I was dancing every day, as well as participating in golf and swim team. I followed my passion and pursued dance at Ohio University. I earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Performance and Choreography. While attending college, I discovered Pilates and was amazed by the results. My body was leaner, my mind was more focused, and my body bounced back frome grueling rehearsals with ease. I am now a certified Power Pilates instructor. I believe this system develops the body and mind into an efficient machine. I look forward to creating workouts for you that empower and transform your life."

Sandi Keeling

"Physical fitness has always been a part of my life. Movement gives me strength and patience to quiet my mind and conquer each day. With more than twelve years of experience in the medical field and long days on my feet, I was determined to find a healthy non-medical alternative that could help manage the chronic pain I suffered from a car accident and a physically demanding profession. Pilates was the answer. It was just what I needed to balance my body and develop a core that supported my back. Not only did Pilates help with pain management but I found that my body bounced right back after two pregnancies. My experience here at Body Pure Pilates inspired me to make classical Pilates a deeper part of my life, and so here I am...a fully certified instructor. I've worked with all ages and fitness levels. I believe that everyone needs Pilates to help them do what they love to do....better! I look forward to helping you achieve your goals while having some fun. You can do this!"

Hunny Adams

"Movement has always been a part of my life. From 2nd grade to college, I was involved in baton twirling, dance, and cheerleading. After graduating from The University of Arizona, I turned to group fitness and have been teaching since 2001. I hold certifications from Mad Dogg Athletics for Spinning, AFAA for kickboxing, Zumba, and Les Mills for Body Pump. Realizing how important exercise and movement are, I went to The Ohio State Univerty to earn my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Through group fitness, I was intrigued by Pilates, how great it felt, and how much it complimented my other workouts. I have since earned certifcation from Polestar for Pilates for Rehabilitation, and from Power Pilates. I feel that Pilates is a great way to balance muscles and to prevent overuse injuries. I consider Pilates the "glue" that holds me together for all my daily activites and fitness adventures. My goal as an instructor is to empower you to feel great in your own body."


Diane Guzman

"As a Group Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer, my first experience with Pilates was an 'Ah-ha" moment. I couldn't believe that I had been missing out on this amazing and extremely effective total body work out for so long! It is the perfect workout that fuses the mind/body connection with strength, stamina and stretch. As a runner and fitness trainer, overuse injuries had become a common occurance. Pilates helped heal, strengthen and tone my body in ways I knew were not possible through other fitness trends. I am looking forward to sharing the knowledge obtained through my experience and certifications including Power Pilates, AFFA, ESA and NCAA. Scott Emerson - Muscle Activation Therapy

"I am a Muscle Activation Therapist (MAT) Specialist and Certified Personal Trainer. I graduated from Columbus State where I received an Associate's Degree in Fitness Management, as well as my Personal Trainer Certification from the American Council of Exercise and American Fitness Institute. Over the years as a personal trainer, I found that many of my clients were experiencing muscular and joint pain while exercising. This inspired me to gain my Muscle Activation Therapy (MAT) Specialist Certifcate. Through MAT, I am able to evaluate and treat chronic pain and injury. I am able to identify and treat muscluar imbalances through a noninvansive manual therapy. My goal is to restore clients to muscular balance so they can return to an exercise paint free."
